Instant Connect is a WebRTC based Webex product that provides a secure, user-friendly platform for guests to join meetings without needing an email account or the Webex Meetings app. With a simple integration process, and a one-click meeting join experience, Instant Connect is easy to set up and use for real-time communication.

The general flow of Instant Connect can be used for any business to consumer (B2C) scenarios, including areas such as health care, financial services, retail, real estate, government and much more. See below for just a few examples.

Health Care

Healthcare staff and patients connect using simple, easy-to-use video telehealth consultations, scheduled directly from their Electronic Medical Records (EMR) portal. These browser-based consultations are highly secure, and no private health information is collected at any point. There is nothing for patients to install nor are there any login details to remember: the patient simply clicks the provided link.

Retail

For customer support and assistance scenarios, Instant Connect can be integrated into retail websites to provide live agent customer support. Customers can connect with support agents without downloading any software to get assistance with product enquiries, order tracking and issue resolution. Instant Connect can also be beneficial for remote stock and inventory management, allowing store managers can connect with central warehouse managers in real-time.
